Just step out the patio gate, cross the street, and you’re on the beach. Six blocks to the South is the Oceanside Pier. Enjoy a walk out it to watch the Surfers. At the end is a Ruby's Restaurant which is a 1940's style diner. If you walk about 3 blocks North instead there's a nice selection of restaurants at the Oceanside Harbor such as Joe’s Crab Shack, Rockin' Baja Lobster, Monterey Bay Canners, and The Jolly Roger. After eating you might want to rent a Kayak for a paddle around the harbor or go out on a Deep Sea Fishing trip with Helgren's Sportfishing.
