If you walk about 3 blocks North instead there's a nice selection of restaurants at the Oceanside Harbor such as Joe’s Crab Shack, Rockin' Baja Lobster, Monterey Bay Canners, and The Jolly Roger. After eating you might want to rent a Kayak for a paddle around the harbor or go out on a Deep Sea Fishing trip with Helgren's Sportfishing. Or, enjoy a cup of coffee as you walk around the harbor. ________What You Can Drive To:________ There's an incredible number of day trips that can be taken from here that will still leave you with some beach time. Less than 15 minutes of driving will take you to Mission San Luis Rey or Legoland. A 30 minute drive will put you at Torrey Pines State Reserve or the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds. Just 45 minutes and you're at Sea World or the San Diego Wild Animal Park. An hour is all that is needed to get to the San Diego Zoo and in just 70 minutes you could be at Disneyland. Ten minutes from Disneyland is Knott's Berry Farm.
